have question regarding the pay pal balance.
yesterday i received a sum of money from a friend at different country (UK)
through pay pal, the money went through successfully and the status show completed, but the money stay at "pending balance" and i am not able to withdraw it. i checked the detail, it said the transfer was successful but i need to wait for maximum of 21 days.

my question is why does this happen. this is my second time receiving money through paypal, and the first time i didnt have to wait, and can withdraw the money straight after its transfered to my account.

problem is it said to prevent dispute they have to wait max 21 days to see whether the transferrer got any complain for "product he bought". but i am not even selling anything.

anyone experienced this before? do we really have to wait for such a long time? or there is other thing i can do to solve this situation?
