Want to ask some N00b question...I'm a Verified Paypal user & I'm using Debit Card. So, in order to pay for something, I need to only state the amount & seller's email only, rite? No need to have any cash inside my Paypal A/C, rite?

Please help me with this...

Recently, I bought something from a seller from USA. I pay certain amount to him thru Paypal. Today, the seller refund some amount to me coz of the lower than expected shipping fees.

The thing is the refund money did return to my Paypal a/c at 1st. After that, Paypal transfer the money back to my Public Bank Debit Card a/c. So, will the money really be send back to my Public Bank a/c?

I've check thru online, still no updates yet... sad.gif

Wouldn't it be better if the money is kept on my Paypal a/c?

Paypal Rates:

Hi,i dont understand the rates mentioned. I have a personal account, and i am purchasing an item for USD100 from a website. When i use my credit card, how much would paypal sapu from the whole transaction? I read they take a certain percentage off for currency exchange and so on n so forth...so how much do i lose from the point of using my credit card to purchasing the item?
Assuming there's a refund from seller to me,does paypal take a percentage off that too?
Thanx! smile.gif

Before u make paypal transfer, it'll bring u to total amount in USD & MYR. U can convert it urself from there... AFAIK, the exchange rate for MYR is weaker against USD in paypal than from our local bank. sad.gif

Maybe the percentage taken from paypal is added inside their exchange rate... whistling.gif

Regarding the refund, no percentage off so far for me.

Usually if money refunded by the seller goes straight to your debit card, it means that in the first place, you paid with your debit card. You didn't pay with paypal funds did you? You paid with your debit card, so it makes sense that the money goes back into your card. Anyway this usually takes a few days, 4-5 days perhaps. Check the balance today, it should be in already.

Yup, received the refund already. Like what u said, takes 4-5 days for the transfer to be completed. thumbup.gif

Anyway, how do I transfer my money to my paypal funds?

Ouch... not accepted, still able to charge u for their service?

So, did rapidshare issue "Request Fund" to ur email or u pay to their paypal a/c? Never try Rapidshare, so don't know how's their process...

Maybe need to wait for expert to assist u...
