The one offered by AmBank is a NexG prepaid credit card which u can purchase at 7-11, usually in Klang Valley, the fee charges is RM3 monthly so per year is around RM36

As for Public Bank Visa Electron (debit card), You can apply for it at any Public Bank branch. yearly fees is RM24 but waived for the first year. =)

Both of them need to deposit minimum RM25, Let's say if u need to spend RM50 with the card... U need to have RM75 balance in the card.

At the moment both of the card is accepted in Paypal. I personally using PB VE to verify my paypal =)  hope this info helps..

i just got paypal verified with nexG.
here is my experience reg nexG.

reg feb 12++ at usj branch. wait & wait & wait.
reg by fax 1 march, wait & wait & wait, activate 15++ march
got pin 3 april, next day verify. 

my advice, always call their center. i called them -+20 times i think 

nway.. time to buy some paypal..

edit: and you really need to wait till you get the pin to reg paypal. coz u need to confirm some number on the payment list.
i reg ambank on9 banking 2 day and it doesnt list it there. so just call their service center again... prob settle

yes. if your maybank debit card linked to your paypal, you can use your paypal account to pay, choosing the funding source, credit/debit card.
