QUOTE(Jaredkuo @ Jul 12 2009, 05:28 PM) First you have to register the " Maybankard Secure Online Shopping Registration " on maybank2you.com there, and then later just go register paypal. I think i'm stupid Under which category? personal details? This post has been edited by Merrinette: Jul 12 2009, 05:49 PM |

QUOTE(Thalmes @ Jul 12 2009, 09:51 PM) What to do if I have my mom's credit card ... I registered the paypal account with her details on it . Can I skip verifying and just buy straight away ? Or I have to verify it using the credit card ? It's Maybank's Master Card . D: u better tell her bout it first, cuz i asked permission from my mum for it and everytime i wanna buy something.. you can skip verifying but some seller only accept payment from verified account and there's a limit for unverified acc.. |

QUOTE(Emily Yee @ Jul 13 2009, 12:37 PM) Grats QUOTE(Emily Yee @ Jul 13 2009, 03:37 PM) I personally think paypal is safe, but having cc/dc is not safe. Especially website like paypal and others online store that store the database of their users details including cc details. I feel it's actually safer with public bank visa electron debit card as we need to top up the card ourselves. If we lose it or the details are hacked, they only can spend what left in the card instead of cc which they can spend as much as they can below the limit. I heard from my friend th at, we have to change the password after some time because last tim buy, somebody used his paypal acc to buy stuff |

QUOTE(Emily Yee @ Jul 13 2009, 05:34 PM) cc can add password? how? then each time use when shopping+restaurants also need to key in password? Hmmn no idea. Perhaps Added on July 13, 2009, 5:38 pm Maybe he went to cybercafe, used some 'bad computer' that steal his personal logins? Yea, last time, they only need our 16 digits of cc number to carding the cc in order to use the money, nowadays, mostly online services/store need vcc(the 3 codes behind) but i also heard that as long as they get the 16 numbers, vcc can be cracked. |

QUOTE(Thalmes @ Jul 13 2009, 07:25 PM) Yes you can add password your Credit Card . Real credit card I mean . Go logon to your bank ( Maybank or anybank ) ... Mastercard or Visa ...Then add pw ... After that . Each time u purchase item on9 with ur credit card , before u get to finalise the payment , your bank will show up a page asking you to type ur password and verification code . << Pass this stage only complete payment. I think it's better to be a bit troublesome rather than be sorry for later Don't buy stuffs in CyberCafe ... Just do it at home. Yes, You have to type in your password EVERYTIME you use ... NO matter where. |
