Today i tried transferring funs to Paypal from CIMB, the whole transaction was perfect, no error. Money debited from my CIMB account.

Then I check my Paypal account, no money went in, no balance. Sh*t.

Just got off the phone with Paypal service center, I was told that I should wait for 24 hours. And I will be sent an email which I need to reply if I doesn't see the money after 24 hours doh.gif

Ahh... really suey

I guess the top up function is not that stable yet. Quite some paypal users have the same issues too. Either they fail to get funds or their account under limitation after successfully top up. So far this problem occurs on Maybank and Cimb users.

For those who want to use Paypal for purchases and transfer funds, it's more advisable to just link it to your card.

I see...

Too bad I'm using both bank. Have a saving account, in Maybank also. doh.gif

Well, I'm still a student, so don't have credit card. Otherwise I'll probably bypass Paypal altogether tongue.gif

Is there a special support email we need to reply to when they ask for info and screen shot?

I replied an email sent to me regarding my issue yesterday, it ask for the invoice number and other details, as well as payment screen shot, so I put everything in the reply mail and send back.

Then I receive this automated reply

If we are not suppose to send to support email, where should I send the info to? Anyone experience this before where they ask to send them some screenshot or document?

Thanks

Yeah I received this kind of thing too but they do reply me and solve the problem. But recently they always sent this automated email back to you. Perhaps you could try keep re-sending to them.

And you reply directly to the email that ask you to send them the screenshots and documents right?
*
Thanks for the reply

Ya, that email that ask for those info came from support@paypal.com. I reply directly to that email, which means it went to support@paypal.com. And then I get that automated reply.

So I guess I don't have to worry about that automated email then.

BTW, how long does it usually take before they reply you and solve the problem?

How long it took before you got this reply?

I am facing the same problem. Sent off the email on Friday, got an automated reply only (nothing to do with the problem).
Monday, I sent another email seeing as I did not get any reply. Again I get an automated reply and thats it.

Till now no one contact me regarding my problem. Money gone, no funds in Paypal.

Do not rely on email too much..just call them, then they will send you an email..

You'll get faster replies if you call them
*
Ya, thats actually what I did last week when I realize the fund didn't enter my Paypal account.

Called them, and the person there send me an email that I need to reply with all the info and payment screenshot. Thats when I send the email to them, with all that info.

But until today still never get any reply from them doh.gif

i have problem with paypal topup.. i add fund RM50 by topup using my maybank.. it have been 2 days now but paypal didn't update any amount in my paypal, but maybank already deducted rm50...

how long is this transaction takes????
*
I've had 2 successful transaction previously, they are almost instantly. By the time you close your FPX transaction window, refresh your paypal page, it should be there, if everything went well.

From my call to their support last week, I was told that I should wait 24 hours. But it certainly shouldn't take longer than that.

Guess you're like one of us facing the problem now sad.gif

Call your bank regarding this and also call PayPal again. I call PayPal everyday coz of this issue (yes, I have funds stuck too laugh.gif)
It should be instant, within 5 minutes after you top-up. Now you should call PayPal to solve this issue, no use waiting anymore
*
lol. Yeah, I'll have to call them again tomorrow morning.
Really crappy top up feature.. Had successfully top up 2 times previously, so this time I trust it and top up RM 150 straight, and now its missing doh.gif

2 weeks gone (top up on 13th may),
tomorrow im going to rage.
who should i call? paypal or maybank?
maybank can solve this problem?
*
I'm currently facing the same problem since last week. Just call them again this morning, she note down my acc number, CIMB transaction number, and FPX transaction number. She said she will contact the bank to trace the money and need to wait few days again. doh.gif

Banks can't help us because we successfully debit the money to FPX, and FPX transfer the money to RHB already. Thats why FPX doesn't refund us after 5 days because the transaction is successful. FPX can only send the money back if something went wrong at their part and the money is in their hands.

Problem is either at RHB or Paypal. Unfortunately, only Paypal can help.

I waited nearly 2 weeks also haven't get back the refund. But paypal staff always call me to update me the status. I guess the funds won't get missing, just it took some time for the refund.

Paypal say they have not received the money from RHB therefore the funds couldn't be allocated to me.
*
Did they say what they will do next?

I'm still waiting for a single updates from them doh.gif

I guess because previously too many top up failure and missing funds that makes them to cancel top up function from other banks. So now have to use solely Rhb account for top up.

I experienced that too. But eventually they fixed it I think, after it became mandatory that we transfer $50 or more, I noticed that problem seems to be gone, for me anyway.

Now I'm stuck, I can't transfer any funds to my paypal account. No any card, no RHB. sad.gif
