hi guys i know my problem is probably discussed in this topic before but it is too long to read.

im foreign student here in malaysia so i dont know about malaysia banks and cards. i already have a cimb saving account like all other students in our university. this account has an ATM card only.
my problem is: i want to use paypal(and regular online card payment) for buying and maybe later on selling things. what bank is best for this purpose and what type of card i should ask them to give me?
~thanks a lot~

If you don't opt to open an account with Maybank. You can try to read this article. It seems CIMB e.mastercard, debit card for cimb can be used to verify PayPal.

I knew someone on the forum used to verify PayPal using the debit card from cimb. Try PM Xeonbox about it.

I've read somewhere, the account you registered in one country, cannot be used in another country. I am not sure about it tho.

thanks for the reply smile.gif i dont mind opening a new account with another bank because it seems that cimb is not so paypal friendly. so maybank is the best bank if i want to use online debit/credit card payment or paypal? i remember people talk about public bank also.
