I've now installed LibreELEC on a micro SD card to dual boot my MXIII, using this source: https://forum.libreelec.tv/thread/2156-8-0-...for-s905-s905x/First boot you have to use the 'toothpick method'. After that, if the SD card is inserted it boots to LibreELEC, otherwise it boots to Android. Once in LibreELEC you can reboot into Android from the shutdown dialog of Kodi 17.3 (Estuary skin). LibreELEC Kodi seems to give a slightly brighter playback of films and allows auto-adjustment of resolution and frame rate to suit the source. Audio passthrough is said to work properly, but I haven't verified that myself. The downside is that it's difficult to install Acestream/Plexus.

Amlogic S905W 2.4GHz WiFi Android 7.1
S905W is a cut down version of S905X, limited to 30FPS at 4K. Cheap box, though

Beelink Mini MXIII V1 running Minix FW - I can no longer access the box settings using the gearwheel icon, or the settings icon inside All Apps menu. The screen flashes then goes back to the prior menu. I can access Google settings, but that's not what I'm looking to change. Anyone else noticed this?

QUOTE(Khalid21 @ Oct 15 2018, 08:05 PM) using remote... change remote battery Using wireless mouse, which works for all other menu operations. Tried remote as well - same result. I guess I need to re-flash the FW, which is a shame because I'll lose all my APK installs and settings, Kodi etc.
