Got my male to male cable from lowyat plaza and tested Superceleron v8b (with SC kernel) on my GT1 A912 model. It is speedier compared to latest stock firmware. Haven't done thorough testing and usage yet but so far I'm happy with the ROM.

The YouTube app looks like the AndroidTV version. Looking forward to v8c rom where SC included WeTek's custom launcher in which to me looks cleaner compared to beelink's launcher

What shipping option did u picked? I usually go for Priority Lane which took about 5-6working days to arrive here.

I ordered GT1 twice from gearbest with priority mail. They used Kerry Express Hong Kong. The tracking won't be updated till you have received it lol.

Roughly 7working days to reach here so don't worry. It shows custom clearance but that's actually in Hong Kong. Your item is actually otw to Malaysia now. You will get it roughly maybe today or tomorrow depending on on start date it began delivering on gearbest website.

Sadly superceleron v8c will be the last from superceleron as his box died dy (GT1 normal, not ultimate).

V8c lasted me good for more than a month now. Hopefully gonna stay on this a while more before jumping on to Alvatech. Gonna miss WeTek's launcher on v8c, cleanest launcher so far that I like.

If you're into modding, try Supercelerons mod. I'm on SV8C rom on my normal GT1 for about 2months now. Super solid, nice launcher, and no hang or reboots.

Using it primarily to casually play hearthstone now lol with some tweaks to reduce graphics as S912 chip isn't that powerful enough for this game to consistently go above 30fps. What a joy playing the game on TV compared to on phone or PC.

Beelink website is back up

Too bad my unit is A912 else I've tried. Waiting for patch zip for my wifi drivers but maybe it won't be so soon since beelink haven't even updated A912 units. Any improvement in 3D graphics department? Saw he overclocked gpu there. Marshmallow does decently for heathstone. Hoping there's a way to make it even smoother on par with performance on 2016 flagship phones.

Have u tried increasing temp limit in settings? I haven't booted the software in a long time, I forgot what the config menu is named. It will get stuck on flashing if it hits the default temp, so just raise it to be double etc

Yeah true the price is increasing even after coupons now. Maybe the demand is high but then again, all s912 with 16GB RAM are quite similar in that range

My Gt1 Ulti arrived yesterday and I straight flashed Superceleron. It immedietly went kaput lol. It was 2% stuck romcode ddr initialize error, pretty famous based on my Google search. Lucky was able to resolve it magically via SDcard flash.

Testing superceleron's latest ATV SVC2. I kinda miss non ATV multitasking capability. ATV seems like super simplified that it takes away multitasking and slowly taking customization away

After a day of use, I kinda like ATV version over normal Android. GT1 ultimate does perform better compared to normal 2gb ram GT1. Quite noticable when playing Hearthstone. Lesser loading time and animations are snappier. Just now I'm not sure if this is given by the extra Ram in GT1 or due to superceleron's mod to enable all 8 cores sync. Gonna keep this box till newer armlogic chip released

@khalid, did u perform any vent mods to your beelink devices? I'm thinking alang2 I cracked open the body, heatsinks or additional vents will help in the long run. Any tips?

I think I got my first unit at 56 ish back then. Takes about 5-6working days to arrive to your doorstep in Malaysia based on my experience after it was indicated as Shipped in Gearbest if u select Priority Lane shipping.
