Man what a deal breaker. Its already in my cart waiting for check out. Luckily i did some research before press buy. Is there any possibly this box will be support by sorg later?

Beelink already released latest firmware without root for GT1. I try flashed and check with Root Checker, it is indeed unroot. However when open AOTG, it is still detected as root. Maybe u guys can try and get better result?

i tried to update mine, resulting it to brick.

using below step:
format sdcard to fat32
copy the 3 files
eject from laptop, insert to box
open OTA app, locate the file and select
press update
yes to everything
reboot
"applying update" shows on the screen
it auto-reboot
*blank*, no signal from HDMI, but power LED still on

luckily i manages to unbrick it by shorting the pins.
others are also complaining in Beelink forum as it happened to them too.

how do you upgrade yours to android 7?

tried that, stuck at 5% uboot
UBOOT/Partition meson/Download buffer/Data transfer error

done that, still stuck at 5%.

yup, i remembered i changed that settings.
but not as high as double the value.
i increased by 10, and then i got different error, hence i didnt go any higher.
