hi bro .. do you think it is possible to flash the beelink mini mxiii ii ( the one with android 6) with mini firmware ? as far as I know it has identical hardware as the beelini mini mxiii (android 5.1) ....

Found a simple solution for GT1 dark screen issue. Using root explorer, go to System \ build.prop > modify service.bootvideo = 1. The boot animation will no longer show beelink animation but it fix the brightness. Now my box is perfect for my daily usage.

Followed your instructions and did a reboot. It showed me the big red bee link logo and then mbox logo ! 😨😨😨 WTH man ....

Yeah because it follow the bootvideo file in system/etc. You can change it if you want. I already change mine with other bootvideo

I just got my beelink mini-mxiii-ii , so I did a test with some movies but notice when compared to my still running great ancient obsolete venz v10 3.5inch hdd media player it is not as sharp in terms of picture quality and colour reproduction not as nice.played the same movies.

But I used the original players or kodi to test on beelink.will that affect it?

btw, what is ur favorite launcher? or using default launcher?

My stock launcher weather widget fail to work and keep on giving me FC, so I changed to squarehome 2. Works quite well since it's pretty much customizable and TV friendly cause can make those icons as big as u want

Original bootvideo file is in System/etc. Just take any video file you like (mp4 format) and rename it to bootvideo without file extension. Replace the original bootvideo. Make sure the video is in 720p. Higher than that i'm not sure it will cause boot problem or not. I'm using default launcher btw

guys do you see any reason to go for the beelink gt1 rather than beelink mxiii ii ? any significant improvement in the beelink gt1 ? The Mxiii ii now is going at an attractive price of RM182 at lazada.... another option is H96 pro with 3gb ram going at RM300.... any recommendation ?
