still it doesn't make sense. how long you will need to keep this software running in the background? all year long? what if new threat come in? another software is develop specifically for a new threat?

i will stick with Dr.Web Security Space to protect my PC from ransomware. It have all the necessary features and detection even for ransomware

Data Loss Prevention is a passive mode in protecting PC from ransomware. You must enable the Preventive Protection

Protection Component --> Preventive Protection --> Operation Mode --> Optimal
and Exploit Prevention --> Prevent unauthorized code from being execute

That's the active protection for Ransomware
