bkt start from ports where workers/coolies do manual labour
its common practice they form assoc & cook simple broth as addition to meal or tats the onli meal
the ingredients are those tit bits of herb/spices leftover from port
it is mainly water/plain soup and very little meat
it mean as a broth/soup to fill up stomach
sometimes company provide it as form of free meal
ingredient are mix of herbs go tru the port, so it not as consistent
later people continue it outside as business
all in all its not personal invention or from someone do r&d or upgrade etc
