“For package one of Phase I, which will cost RM5mil, the roads will be expanded from two to three lanes; and the slip roads will be upgraded, so road users can use them instead of having to go through the Kota Kemuning roundabout. This will alleviate traffic.

The thing is how many cars will turn left for those coming from the second roundabout (south side) heading towards Kesas during the peak hours in the morning?

Or during the evening peak hours, if coming from Kesas towards the roundabout, how many cars will turn left?

The only ppl who will really benefit with the slip roads are those coming from McD side to go into Kesas. (IF they intend to have slip roads from ALL directions anyway)

hence why there's phase 2 for the flyover.

Good news... but...

""Penstrukturan semula jalanraya di Kota Kemuning bagi mengatasi masalah lalu lintas dijangka bermula Ogos ini. Pakej pertama dilaksana melalui pelebaran jalan dan sistem jalan bertingkat. Fasa kedua dilaksana melalui pembinaan jalan susur keluar dari Persiaran Anggerik Mokara ke Lebuhraya KESAS.""
Road widening doesnt help cause the bottle neck is the roundabouts.

The flyover suggested works, we need one on Mokara bypassing the first roundabout for those going to/from Kesas. That would help ALOT.

I dont understand the "jalan susur" from Mokara to Kesas cause there is already a current road form Mokara towards both direction of Kesas... just do the flyover to bypass the roundabout pls.

Oh and remove the McDOnalds drive thru... its creating unnecessary jam due to selfish ppl blocking the mainroads.

U cakap road widening doesn't help. slip road kasi help la. bodo.

Phase 2 needs state funds. Talk is easy. When it comes to really implementing it becomes different story. Slow slow wait. KK residents have been hearing same story for 10 years or more already.

Nobody's arguing. Just stating the fact that the slip roads is not much of a help to reduce the traffic congestion at the roundabout.

And the solution of the flyover has no concrete assurance yet. The report just states that city council will apply for state funds. When apply? Confirm will get green light by the state? When project will commence? In 2/3/4 years? When will complete? In 3/4/5 years?

Like so many things regarding to Malaysian politicians statements, it's vague and touch the surface only.

Speaking of G257, wonder would they be able to turn right towards KK direction? Or just turn left and need to go to the main canal city roundabout first?

Ya, i dunno about this also but i think they will apply to authorities to open up a junction there or else residents coming from rimbayu/ta/es have to go all the way to the traffic light and u turn back. Lol
