Drive accordingly to speed, au have a lot of speed trap especially in school area. Their traffic light is using smart system. So drive only when others is drving. Use signal and expect rood bully but most aussie is pretty nice at road.

You'll be fine because even without translation, the stuff on a Malaysian license is pretty obvious.
The only difference might be WA, which is considering laws that after 3 months of stay, all overseas licenses are invalid.

Last time I nearly hit a car when approaching to roundabout, in Aussie, their roundabout are mostly drawn on the road with white color paint.
And also when the time around 9am to 10am, then the roat was like reflecting the sunlight, it is so hard to see the road.
