Queries Is replying to a compliment is an indirect bump?

As the above topic, in garage sales, if we reply to someone's compliment about the item & service, is that consider indirect bump?
I mean reply by saying, "thank you, nice to deal with you' or 'sorry for the delay of the shipping' or whatever. |
