So indeed those phone are Samsung's. And I tot it was some fake phone trying to tarnish Samsung image.

Anyway, guys, pls don't play while charging and keep it at a distance while charging. Just in case as Samsung taking precautions already

finally got my LCD panel replaced took 3 hours for the service and now my phone so far so good hehehehe

and i bought the 1 yr extended warranty

as for the screen crack...using UAG casing now...which is quite protective i would say...so not much worry

i dun think they will do a recall. this is not auto industry.

even if confirmed issue, samsung will just say they will fix the issue if phone still in warranty. that... i'm very sure.

i dun think Samsung will say we'll fix the phone even if issue happens to your phone 4 years from now.

also, the slowdown is to check on the exploding cases, which i think is more to do with Fast Charging + USB Type C. no mention abt boot loop or the sudden death issues plaguing some owners here.

but i'm curious to know... Korea using Exynos version, right? or SD?

well, this can't be sure.. who can guarantee Apple's first batch is going to be problem free?

Sent my phone with box to SC last week(25th), no news until now.
so sad.

guys... i had fix the battery drain problem myself by smart switch...
before reflash frimware my sot is just 5 hour barely..
after reflash frimware 20% battery  2 hour sot.. wow..

I am eyeing on this note 7 and waiting for the sales launch here.. But reading so many problems with this phone I may give it a pass..

Congrats to Note7 for kicking the S7E crown as the best battery performance....so far...until... LeMoto Vibe P2 is released soon...

No worry la, use ori cable + ori charger. Anything happens can still sue samsung for compensation.Maybe some used the non standard usb-c adapter which is explained here

A shop owner offered me usb-c cable for rm20 which i declined because i'm not sure if the cable is compliant to the usb spec or not. This guy Mr Benson Leung took the trouble to review a lot of usb-c cables and adapters which you can find it here.

I did it on my S7 Edge many times even with hand soap, once a week. Just remember to wipe it dry after wash. Did the same to my Note 7, so far so good.

To be honest even got highest rating of IP i also wont dunk in water. There's too many inconveniences such as muddled speaker, headphone jack filled with water, s-pen hole filled with water, charging jack unable to charge.

Throughout my whole life all my phone never touched water. Just treat this phone as additional protection in case your phone really drop in water. Usually almost immediately we retrieved it already If the phone drop in water. Exception is some rare cases where the phone in jeans got washed together in the washing machine for some period of time.
