the apps okay?  hmm.gif

uses less battery?  hmm.gif

I would say it's like a web browser mode facebook in an app optimized for only facebook browsing. It does the job. Unlike facebook app that does sneaky things in the back, it uses less battery.

Note 7 is a really amazing hp, till the hardware issues are fixed. Reset assured that Samsung will sort out and fix it.

Waiting for the SME official statement.

Hope we get a 1 to 1 exchange. Rather than part repair/exchange.

Yay, new phone. One price for the joy of two unboxing experiences.

Someone called to SME:

"just now i call samsung. they said need to bring to service centre to check 1st whether affected or not. so is it all device affected or only certain batch?"

Typical Malaysian businessmen. Always look for any sort of possible ways to steal from people.

Customers may contact Samsung Malaysia Careline at 1-800-88-7799 for further enquiries of their current Galaxy Note7 device before replacement takes place.
what do they mean by that?
*
That means not all note 7s are eligible for replacement. Some units are fine and no replacement required.

Great to know Samsung is recall worldwide, Malaysia 8,000 units include, everybody shall go return now even your unit no issue.
*
No reason to turn in the phone in such a rush. Waiting for more stories development.

If they are gonna open up your new phone for checking the parts, then only to return it back. I would feel like they took the virginity of my phone. It won't feel the same. ANYMORE!

my battery highest i see is 36ºc and CPU 50ºc...

Your phone is fine. Just don't use third party type-c cable, as it might not meet the standard and quality for charging the phone.

Compensation? That's too much of a dream in a developing country.

Is it normal for a normal usage watching YouTube on WiFi where the battery temp reach 39 degrees Celcius?
*
It's normal for note7. So does mine. I don't like it gets warm on little workloads.

i would glad to bring SME up to court if they dont honor bolded matter.
*
Say would you spend 10K in a court case for a RM3000 phone? Make no sense.

Bringing it to court cost a lot of money. Big companies can drive the plantiff out of money by playing the dragging game and delay the court. This is how some of the malaysian businessmen make money and be rich. To steal from others and nothing they could do about it.

Not sure about many class action here in Malaysia. Does it even work?
