just want to know are there any significant differences btwn using 1 x 1Gb RAm & 2 x 512 Mb ???? According to apple site , it' best to use up the 2 slots so taht the dual memory channel can perform at its best. Has any1 feeel the diff ???

i know.. now i m planing to get a 1gb 667 1. then maybe later upgrade another 1 gb stick. jsut wondering if i use just 1 stick , will the performance be not as good as 2 x 512 ??

ya i do plan to upgrade again later. jsut that 1 shot cmoe out with RM800 abit too much for my wallet to handle.

i c... so both slots must be occupied then.
btw , civic 98 , so far yr 1.25 has no prob at all right ?? what ram are u using? coz i m planning to get the mushkin 1gb coupled with the stock ram. no prob right ?

but i heard right ? Kingston is not that good. Some apps maybe not run smoothly. how come ppl are agaisnt Corsair ?? i though Corsair is 1 of the leaders in the RAM market.... :|

hahahaa...1 shot 2 gb is really taxing for most ppl.  btw , i think like wat civic said just pop 1 gb in 1st together with the stock ram. then later only get the other 1gb . Currenly with the stock 512 mb , ifeel the speed is still fine if there's no multitasking. if there's really multi tasking, i can really feeel the need for waiting. Will pop in a 1gb by next week .
