Improve AF is a happy thing for me  biggrin.gif . I don't need the custom AF-C, rarely used the continous AF  laugh.gif
*
Yeah, when I really look back, I only really need the articulating screen. 4K, AF-C custom, dual UHS-II don't really matter for my personal use. But why oh why Fuji make X-Pro2 more expensive (I know it's bcs of the hybrid VF, but still... *sigh*)

Yes, due to HVF
*
but sometimes I wonder, does the extras Fujifilm give for X-T2 like USB3 (charging in body to PC/laptop or any legit USB charger), articulating screen, dual UHS-II, better heat sink (for 4K), free 32gb UHS-II SDHC memory card, all of those combined really costs less than the HVF? I mean, the free memory card alone costs a bomb if buy separately...

Product design and production bye.gif Btw if RF lover can go for X-Pro2, like me love it so much but doesn't mean I use the OVF  sweat.gif Feel special.
*
My personal reason why I love the RF form factor only because it's more stealthy, esp. for candid and street shooting. Again, it's my personal view. Some ppl are intimidated regardless what kind of camera pointed to them but IMO RF cameras won't catch as much attention as SLR form factor does.

QUOTE(streme21 @ Oct 5 2016, 11:46 AM)
The price they quote before release was RM7.6k for body only for XT-2 but after the release the price is cheaper than XPro-2  hmm.gif . If it weren't for that quoted price, I would have take a leap for Pre Order the XT2  laugh.gif
But then again when I tested the XT-2, I wished the playback & delete button is nearer to the right hand as is better for one hand operation just like the XPro-2 (I know we can set one of the function button for playback but we will lose one function button  sweat.gif ).

They remove the record movie button but the placement of the Function button in between the shutter speed and exposure compensation dial could be shift next to shutter button for easier use. I cant easily reach the function button when it is cover between those big dials  laugh.gif

But yeah, the price of the XPro-2 could be lesser or the same as XT-2, I cant justify why I would choose the XPro-2 instead of XT-2 with just the present of HVF and more pixel LCD back screen.
(PS: I used more of the LCD screen than the HVF for my last shooting because I took more pic on the ground and the XT-2 swivel screen would be super useful in those situation)
Not really stealthy if u put big lens on it  laugh.gif
*
Yeah, totally agree on all of that. If the price are the same or only hv a slight difference I would totally go for X-Pro2 bcs I don't really mind missing things from X-T2 that aren't present on X-Pro2.

Unless...there's someone willing to swap his/her X-Pro2 body with my X-T2 body with no additional top-up sweat.gif tongue.gif

Stealthy haha... 35mmF2 and 23mmF2 good combined with X-Pro2
*
LOL yeah, I won't be using my 56mm for street shooting. My 35mm f2 will definitely stuck on the body most of the time, light, stealthy and fast thumbup.gif

Haha you sure? Maybe the x-pro2 already used for some time. Close to end of warranty you still want?

hmmmmm, depends on the body condition, shutter count and how many months more left for the warranty hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif

What's the market price for XT-2 now?
*
AFAIK cheapest one-time payment is with Shashinki.com and cheapest installment plan is with an active forumer in this topic, Mr. kelvinling. Shashinki offering RM6678, with kelvinling you can consult with him bcs I don't want pandai2 quote the price on his behalf tongue.gif

56 F1.2 suits for taking what kind of picture sir?
*
can refer my Instagram (link in signature) for examples of pics 56mm produce, and to answer your question it suits best for portraiture. If you like such pics it is highly recommended to get it as it's really hard to find ppl selling their 56mm, at least for now. thumbup.gif

Paired the Fujifilm's new Grain Effect and Classic Chrome film simulation to try to get that vintage look.

Fujifilm US starting to sell X-T1 body/kit with $400 discount, some stores there even include an additional 4% discount on top of it. If Fujifilm M'sia throws the same offers, it's quite worthy if wanna get a brand new X-T1 instead of a used one.

Some truth. But gears do make some shots stand out like fps, aperture, autofcus, and stabilizer. And ironically the author demonstrate dynamic range which is dependent on sensor tech. And if the smartphone camera is anything like iphone 1st gen, bet you image quality vs hardware comparison is still a thing.
*
yeah, the article has some irony a bit in it by talking about tech specs while preaching about not to talk about tech specs, the points weren't elaborated properly but still agreeable to some level.

This are all subjective really with no right and wrong answer. Take the famous usain bolt smiling while running pic for example. There are two shots by different photographer, one sharp, the other slightly blurry. But media chose the blurry one cause bolt's running form is more dynamic. In another case, smartphone camera shots at low light still horrid unless u view at fb page or instagram, no matter how good ur composition are.

Ya true but they still cannot offer crop ability as much as modern big sensor cameras.
Facebook or IG is fine though.
*
Second this, one of the main reasons why I prefer taking out my X100 than my smartphone is the crop ability for post-process & posting online. Love how I can still have good image after cropping rclxms.gif
