Has anyone here tried Plugfones?
QUOTE Plugfones are earplug headphones designed for work, home, play, and travel. Instead of using normal earplugs, thought of getting these.25db NRR certified earplugs that feature a 3.5mm audio jack and built-in speaker to play your favorite tunes. It helps cut out machine noise but you can still hear when talking to people. |

QUOTE(Cyphereza @ Dec 23 2016, 03:40 PM) Has anyone here tried Plugfones? Music could be a potential distraction especially if the ear plug is good a reducing noise /sound levels. Instead of using normal earplugs, thought of getting these. Plugfones Let's not forget that the helmet (especially good ones) also helps a bit in sound level reduction. |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Dec 25 2016, 08:18 AM) Music could be a potential distraction especially if the ear plug is good a reducing noise /sound levels. Listening to music while riding has its risks. But its debatable.Let's not forget that the helmet (especially good ones) also helps a bit in sound level reduction. Good helmets do keep the sound low, but you still need ear plugs even with the best helmet. Its the wind noise that you want to filter out. The wind noise can make you go deaf. But, to each their own I guess. This post has been edited by Cyphereza: Dec 25 2016, 03:06 PM |

But, to each their own I guess. i am a ICE user for my car and it's what gotten me into Motorsports and ultimately riding as well, be it directly or indirectly. and yes, i totally agree on bodled; Why else i wear ear plugs even on my shark back then and the new Arai Rx7X i believe i've posted links/articles before on this thread, and yes, i do want to protect my ears since i still like to enjoy music actually considering audiophile centric ear plugs for concert going, but i sorta "missed the bus" (friend who's hardcore concert goer organized a bulk before but i didn't know about it until the bulk was all over and they were using the products on a concert that we both met lol) on that so that's something for me to look into some other time haha |

Earplugs are extremely important. I can't live without mine. Even with my GT air, I still wear them as the wind noise is simply unbearable.

My Pirelli Angel STs koyak after 15000km. I ride my bike to work every day... towards the end, the centre of the rear started stripping away. Pretty shocking & quite unbecoming of something that bears the Pirelli name, not some capalang cock brand.
Wanted to switch to Pirelli Angel GTs but NKS only had stock from early last year, old stock discount will only apply in Jan so I got quoted a shade under RM1200 for 120/70 & 180/55. Expensive & since the Pirellis were in a bad shape I couldn't wait for Jan. Their Michelin Pilot Road 4 stock arrived just a few months ago & I got quoted RM1140. Done deal. Tyres came fresh off the rack & it was raining.... and right off the bat, they were brilliant in the wet. Next day it rained again, and they felt grippy & surefooted enough for me to hit 120km/h in the rain on the highway. These Michelin Pilot Road 4s are brilliant wet weather tyres, they easily outshine my old Pirelli STs. If u guys need new hoops, these come very highly recommended..!! |

For stock tyre, 15000km is considered excellent enough. Generally we have to change tyre every 10-12km. But it's also highly dependents on your riding style. |

Yes, 15000km is good but I expect more from Pirelli than what u see in the pic below. I hv had Metzeler ME-Z4 & Bridgestone BT012 & BT014 before.... none of then gave way like this. The only way I could wreck them was by doing a burn-out just before changing tyres.
Pirelli Angel STs are garbage. They're ok when new but towards the end of their lives mine died in a shocking way. If they come with the bike, use them... but don't buy them as replacements unless you're desperately broke. No wonder Pirelli quietly introduced the Angel GT, which is an upgraded version with dual compound (like the Michelin PR4.... in my book, good sports touring tyres are always dual compound). QUOTE(mazda6mps @ Dec 26 2016, 05:28 PM) Hello fellow sifu, know where can I get a good quality motorbike cover? and around how much for a good deal? I am using Oxford Stormex from Welly.-Branded and heavy duty bike cover. -Have clain slot front and rear -Heat resistance lining, can cover your bike when hot. I would only cover my bike after the bike shutdown for 10min. But, still little water can get in . After store my bike for more than 1 weeks , CICAK come and make their home |

Even oem bike cover are rubbish. The best I think is custom made tarpaulin cover. Can check with kedai lori
Ask them to tailor according to your bike height width and length and even with ventilation, straps etc. Last more longer and more heavy duty I believe. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

After store my bike for more than 1 weeks , CICAK come and make their home mine ady torn a bit around the exhaust, not because of heat as i always let the bike cool down being precautions, however due to my serious crash/accident back in may, the scuffed up exhaust had rough/sharp surface/edges which damaged it no water can get to my bike though despite heavy rain/water puddles forming on top of the cover... the water just sits there until it either dries up/i flick it away. quick google: http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=123372 http://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=188629 QUOTE(monaz @ Dec 26 2016, 09:30 PM) Even oem bike cover are rubbish.
