It is a totally different thing. The product is savings plan 10k per annum for continuous 5 or 6 years then only can get 5.18% for your 10k FD

I am going to try the Bangkok Bank 4.1% before it ended.
At the same time, try out their lousy counter service....haha

Telephoned Bangkok Bank on Wednesday 7 Sep. Told 4.1% promo over and replaced with 5 mths 3.80% and 10 mths 3.95%.

Which 1 wud u choose?

My HL eFD interest credit into my casa monthly. So  i think there is an option.

For the MBB GIA 12 months 4.1% campaign earlier, it mentioned:
Indicative Effective Profit Rate for 12 Months
= (3.60% + 3.60% + 3.60% + 3.60% + 3.60% + 3.60% + 4.00% + 4.00% + 4.00% + 4.00% + 5.80% + 5.80%) / 12 = 4.10%

As per current rate effective from 16 Nov to 15 Dec 2016, it is drop from 3.6% to 3.55%.. does this mean that our 12 months effective rate also drop? coz i notice my first month interest received also lower than 3.6% d... I thought they should follow the GIA campaign rate? If it is less than 4.1% for 12 months placement, I will have to withdraw and place to HLB eFD for 6 months then...
