affin 4.05% pure FD is for 15 months right? Couldn't find details at Pg 1.

I just called, interest upon maturity , no other T&C.

Thanks. Does anyone have any experience as to whether Affin pays interest on weekends?

CIMB Conventional : (depending on amount and branch, ask staff to request)

3 month - 4.05%
6 month - 4%
12 month - 3.95%


CIMB Islamic FD

1 month - 3.7%
3 month - 4.1%
6 month - 4%
12 month - 3.95%


but I opted for Affin Bank Package 2 to be entitled to 4.15% (15months), just open an SA and apply debit card (free for 1st year). Hopefully I made the right decision

huh? credit card yes, debit card NO. I got the FD cert on same day with 4.15%

as of today 3pm, Affin FD promo ended. I missed the boat as I was there only 3.30pm. Therefore put CIMB

it's Islamic FD. Up to the staff to request. I guess diff branch have diff minimum deposit . Rate fluctuates EVERY week, so be fast

depends on branches and RM (relationshio mgr) I guess. Mine was > RM100k




btw , Ambank have new promo (changes weekly), can get up to 4.33% (min 100K) for 5 years placement . Check with your respective branches . Product is called EMPOWERMENT RATE (pure FD)
