I have FDs maturing in Oct but I feel like withdrawing now in Sept and put it into RHB and lock it at 4% for another 12 mths.  Does it make sense to do this?

Is it true ? I don't see 4% on Rhb website. It's still 3.9%😕

Actually quite good for RHB..always got high FD promotion..although stated new fund but I no follow this rule direct renew my fd at there is still acceptable..

One of my friend got 4.25% in Affin by buying 1000 units of FP ASNB units. Since the FD was >100k, good deal ! 

Fp can be ASW2020, ASM, AS1M.  Either one.

The problem is even the 1k FP unit, not successful and only hrs later got it. So 100k FP ??

I was surprised the first time I heard it. Last time I have one FD promo with RHB for 6 mths 7.8% with ASNB VP funds.

But confirmed true on Wed, 2 days ago. I also opened 3 FP funds there. I am sure some other branch of Affin is doing the same thing. 

Aspire is 50k and above.

MBB Premier Wealth is 250k and above.

Private Banking is by invitation only. Some banks are 3 mil and above. Maybank one is lower but is on invitation only.

Met RHB condition few years back. BM told cannot be FD only, has to be investment products. Please confirm before we talk about the "deal". Hahaha !

I was all prepared to join RHB premier wealth by end of the month, then I can join in the bandwagon to get a share of the introducer fee.

However, since Maybank's RM is quite desperate to pull me to join their premier wealth despite me not giving me decision yet, I just got an insider news from him that 16 October onwards there will be a GIA promotion of 4.1% for 12 months.

Anyone can verify this?

From RHB website..it seen like still need to have 10k minimum amount put in CASA.

Now I only know deposit <200k to become Premier only..other TNC I not clear

dude, in this case, why dont you guys take HSBC Premier instead? It makes RM500 per referral instead of 388. And They give 4.38% p.a FD for new to premier customers

Really? Got link for the 4.38%pa FD for new hsbc premier customers? Then this promo is better than RHB 4% pa.

Checked with the RHB manager. Now the RHB PB 200k requirement can be purely FD but need to maintain 10k in SA. Once PB approved, can withdraw out the sum.

OK, may work to get the referral fee among few family members.
