Which online fd has highest offer rate? I search mbb, pbb, Mach and HSBC all dint have any online promotion

I think only for hlb.. Mach don't have the option

Unable.. I tried.. It pop out another screen with 3 reason,  contact hlb, saving or current acc dormant or don't have transaction access

One of my friend got 4.25% in Affin by buying 1000 units of FP ASNB units. Since the FD was >100k, good deal ! 

U go try cimb...I able to get 3 month for 4.0%
so I think 6 month should be also around there

A bit tricky with the T n C :

2. The Promotion Fixed Deposit (“FD”) is to be ‘Pre-book’ in different batches and the fund must be earmarked in the customer’s MYR Current Account/ MYR Savings Account/ CNY Demand Deposit Account  for 21 days to 33 days,  Thereafter， the fund will be transferred to FD Account  for 9 months FD  on the designated FD placement date.

So eff rate:
3.97% p.a. – 4.05% p.a.

straight forward...if bigger amount can get 4.1%

Want to place hong leong efd
So i go to open hong leong basiac saving account but get rejected by branch saying that account require employment letter for payroll or for low income people.

they say this is their bank policy. I dun think bank can do such thing, right?

After my insist asking to check further, they said will make a call to their office to confrm and leave my phone number there.

Maybe i need to try other branch.

Can someone explains to me, "why we are still need FD even though we have ASB/Unit Trust option with better ROI?"

Are there any charges for FPX transfer for HLB 4% eFD?
