wow,8k unit.hopefully anyone that get defect unit get 1 to 1 replacement.customer really deserve to get it.

Global shortage and spare-part isn't here yet. Won't get 1 to 1 replacement. But usually they will fix the problem. In some cases, less than 2 hours can get your device already. Samsung service now is really fast.

I kept my device on for 2 days after owning it, but the Wifi shows that it's on for 22 days.

Give it few days and it will settle down in what it's doing in the background.
For more precise what's going on, download the paid app that I use.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...s.bbm.pro&hl=en

There is the free version you can test.

lolz be positive  biggrin.gif  tongue.gif  Samsung QC is not that bad until can explode tongue.gif
*
There is one time (Note 2 or S3 I don't remember), user's phone exploded. Upload the video, Samsung noticed it.
Ask the man to return the phone and promise to give him the new phone. But on one condition, must delete the video and confess the phone exploded not from Samsung fault.

The man won't follow the rules and upload another video about the letter/email that given by Samsung.

that is why i feel weird and feel so fed up.. can't imagine if i download more apps or etc later

Even with wifi on and the phone is heated up?
Btw the app that recommend you can let you know which app is the culprit. Which app that use a lot of CPU usage and will show in the graph when is the Network disconnect and reconnect. Constant reconnecting consume a lot of battery usage and the phone will heats up.

no wifi on. will try to monitor for few days since most of you guys mentioned it's normal phone get warm
first time heard phone temperature can go up so high  shocking.gif
*
I know it's not normal to iPhone as iPhone will get warm when we use it laugh.gif
Android is easily warm up coz there a lot of running apps in the background and higher CPU clock.

Like my S7E, when I'm outside no wifi, the normal temperature is 35-38c. At home with wifi on, it's 32-33c.

yeah i ask my friends that is using android phone, they told me it's normal to warm up. first time using android phone ma..  laugh.gif
*
Ya I mean not normal for iphone to warm up easily compare to android phone. Even I played Pokemon GO on iphone, it's just feel warm but still comfortable to hold. Not with Android though. Depend on where's the processor is, my S6 Edge is uncomfortable to hold especially on the right side.

Did you think the backpack is worth it? Think again.

While using the backpack, the network is on.

What does it mean?  hmm.gif
*
The backpack itself is 3100mAh, while the phone's battery is 3500mAh. I know it will lose some when charging and even worse with wireless charging, but from 15% to only 65%? It's like only 50% for additional power to the phone. Imagine using the phone while charging it, uh that heavyness! I would say, using powerbank is much better option than this! For RM419, not worth it at all.

Check my previous reply to other forummer.

For short, it's only add 50% juice to Note7.

It was said as much during the launch event at NY...

Some reviewer says 60-70%, and one says 80%.

While 50% is not quite okay as it has 3100mAh. Next time I will try to switch on the airplane mode.
The first time I tried is with network on and wifi connected.
