Update:
After home with the new replacement set, i updated the newest firmware (the 180mb updates) then proceed with full factory reset. After that only do minimal transfer thru smart switch (sms, call logs etc only). All apps fresh installed. Security features all done setup. Phone seems fine and smooth like jelly, no lags no freeze no restart. Will keep testing and keep monitor. My replacement phone was manufactured on 18aug2016 according to SammMobile info, as screenshot attached. P/s: im so darn tired yet happy that my super note7 is back finally!!! QUOTE(Max2006 @ Aug 26 2016, 12:34 PM) Unfortunately, nope. It's the real thing. if exploded.. claim 1 to 1 replacement.. hehe...I found out that judging a case simply based on personal assumption or other people's view is not good enough. So I went ahead and did my research on my own. Read the original source (if you can read mandarin or korean). Korean original source http://m.ppomppu.co.kr/new/bbs_view.php?id=phone&no=3225308 Chinese source http://technews.tw/2016/08/25/samsung-note...orea-explosion/ Apparently, the phone was in Korea, bought by a Korean. Confirmed is Note 7. According to the victim, the phone was exploded during charging, using microUSB to USB Type-C cable with original charger. The phone already sent to Korea SC. Initial analysis was the root cause is the battery malfunction. Still not yet confirmed whethere its factory malfunction or human error. Anyway, this would be the first explosion case for Note 7. The news was spreaded through most of the local newspapers in Korea. I repeat, the exploded phone indeed is Note 7 (Korean version). And yes. Korean version Samsung phones do not have Samsung logo on it. |
