Anyway, which version of Global ROM u're using now... Maybe it is vendor ROM (unless u flash urself...). I don't think Global ROM is as bad as what you have mentioned... If it is, then, billions of RN3 users will curse Xiaomi...

Yup. Custom ROM. Light version for Global Dev. Since lots of Xiaomi's background services are killed in the EU ROM, you will have faster performance and more free RAM for heavy usages.

No issues after upgrading to 8.0.5. Was having issues with 8.0.2 beforehand, proximity sensor just wont work all the time but after the upgrade, everything is buttery smooth except instagram.

My V10 died and I borrowed this phone from my sister for temporary while waiting for mine to be fixed. It's using developer ROM and I have nothing but only frustration. Tried flash to official ROM but didn't succeed, tried it using my sister's laptop. I will try again on my laptop. I hope it's easy to flash.

My main frustrations are the extreme delayed WhatsApp messages and tonnes of rubbish China bloatware. Any solution for WhatsApp delayed messages? I tried searching on this topic but I can't seem to see any option under permissions?

In the router settings:
Change the 2.4GHz Band to Channel 3, 6, or 10
and/or....
Change the 5GHz Band to Channel 40 and below....

my sis bought an import set with global rom for a friend..today only noticed the phone actually have problem with charging.. not sure if import set must use the charger given or the hardware really got problem.. even connecting it to a Laptop will not charge it

anyone with the same set has this issue before?

I believe, the WiFi driver that is in Global ROM is not "efficient".... However, I do not face the WiFi issue under Xiaomi.EU ROM...

Now that they released Global 8.0.5.0, the WiFi even worsen... previous 8.0.2.0 was OK.... The 8.0.5.0 takes its sweet time to connect to WiFi....
