I am really interested to buy an Illegear laptop because of how customizable it is. The Onyx looks really nice but I will probably go with the Raven as it's much cheaper and is just slightly heavier and still manageable.
However, I am going to study overseas at Hong Kong and will bring the laptop with me. And since Illegear is a Malaysian brand, does that mean I will get totally no support when I'm overseas? If it's some minor issues I would probably be able to solve it myself, after all I worked at an IT store, but if it's some major issues which requires replacements of parts, such as screen, keyboard, battery, adapter, will it be possible to find those parts overseas? Hopefully there will not be any major issues.
I'm also considering the Asus FX504, which is actually cheaper with the same specs minus some features, and should have support internationally. I've heard that Asus support is terrible, but terrible support should be better than no support right?
Any opinion or advice on this?
