Just wanna share my experience. I went to the Illegear office today with the intention of inspecting the demo units for S-series.  I'm surprised how nice their customer service is!    Very friendly and they do really seem to be passionate about gaming stuff.    I was even offered special promo and thus, I put my order for a s7  skylake gtx1060. 

So far my impression is very good! Really satisfied with their service. This will be my fourth gaming laptop so far and I have to say Illegear service is among the best I ever experienced.    Planning to do a mini review for s7 here once I got the laptop.

Is there any info on the Q5 Evo's battery life for normal usage? Browsing etc

does q5 evo, like his big bro q5, comes with fingerprint sensor?

Bought myself an S5 last two weeks.

Service was friendly and good. My S5 is performing very well. It's been awhile since i've been able to play a game at high resolutions

Hi, I'm currently using 3+ year-old MSI GS70 and looking for potential replacement. I like the lightweight of my GS70 yet with sufficient capability to run games. What is the recommended model offerred by Illegear? I'm looking for laptop with the following criteria:
1) Lightweight
2) Able to run latest games with high settings (no need for highest or ultra, though). I plays a lot of Football Manager, SimCity like games, RPG/RTS games such as Diablo III and Starcraft II, occassionally FPS games like Crysis 3.
3) Good screen quality, preferrably IPS and sound system as I'm watching a lot of videos on the laptop
4) Better cooling capability than my GS70. I have experienced battery failure and display failure attributed to high temperature.

Thanks Prince J for your prompt response. S7's spec looks interesting, but a tad heavier than my current notebook. Any plan to introduce new model with more lighter and smaller footprint?

should we turn off the laptop when we're not using it overnight or can i afford to leave it on sleep mode?

twice on occasion mt s5 would be hot the next morning and drained of it's battery.

sorry, i'm out of my depth. It's been awhile since i've really used windows.

i haven't accessed BIOS so i doubt i turned it on. and in the control panel, it's selected on "MSHybrid"

and when you say discrete graphic, you mean the GTX?

Hi Azim, I notice there's a sim card slot when I remove the battery pack from my Q5. Does it function or is it just a dummy slot?

I was contemplating on getting an illegear laptop but as I am not from Selangor, it seems abit of a trouble should I encounter any problem with the laptop. It would not be possible for me to bring my laptop all the way to selangor just for servicing

Hi.. my illegear s5 got some problem when playing on9 game. WASD key got some seriously delay when playing blade and soul, Digimon Master Online or whatever on9 games that using WASD key to move. My brother laptop just ok playing this game with the same internet connectivity. How to solve this problem? Offline games such as The Witcher 3, MGS 5, Fallout 4 doesnt face this problem at all.

Another problem is all games that I play stay at 60fps. Disable vsync could increase fps but the grafic not smooth at all.
