Even PS4/Xbox fans didn't claimed that this is the most awaiting MGS game because of due to lack of hype and the game was not meant to be tactical espionage game. According to YongYea, a famous MGS youtuber fans, Survive didn't sell well in both UK and Japan plus even cannot compete with other non-Kojima involvement's MG title Revengeance.

They reuse back the asset from MGSV and put up a diferrent mode. Same as playing Call of Duty Zombies where EA reuse back the asset and features from the previous COD games but just add zombies.

Many fans complain and rage that the monetary system featured in the game really cruel and greedy to Konami. Extra save slot and upgrades in micro transaction using real world money instead of previously MGSV's MB coins (given free per day or you have a choice to buy by using real world money)
