In actual honesty, real road with real cars are more satisfying and exhilarating. There's more sense of fear and pressure and tension. Not to mention you feel the whole swaying of the car (ticklish ballz n a disco heartbeat when i corner 180+ in my real 1.6 car). Part of the fear it is not knowing what's ahead on the dark road. You also more cautious as any damage means..money flying. Not to mention how many of us can have real tuned evo, subaru or silvia's to simply race with. But I would never get to battle in real life as much as I liked. On 1 card alone, I have more than 300 battles recorded lor. Definitely I average more than 130 battles per serious card. But i believe this is common for the usual id player.
I have seen other people have cards that have a recorded 400+ battles. Pretty sure these hardcore players have another top car card that records just as many battles.
So initial d has given me part of the thrill of mountain racing. It has also trained me well in dealing with emotions i will feel in one on one racing situations. Like when you're the underdog car, when you are the superior car and surely win, when it's a tight battle and a little bit of panic + 1 tiny mistake gives you 2nd place
Sometimes I get total beginners who challenge. So the focus has changed from just want to win, to a feeling to have funnie fun and liven it up. I handicap myself to only 4th gear even though the car has 5/6, I will take the lead and then turn the car around to go the opposite direction (so fun to try head to head collision which doesn't happen in this game
ver. 4 , jus bring it!
