Penang still 2 ringgit a pop?In KL, it's nearly RM1 everywhere now except 1 utama. 3 or unlimited battle continues varies from place to place.

I never really liked the steering for Initial D arcades. Their force feedback is soft that I have to steer the wheel back into the middle. The force feedback also has a tendency to push your steering to the other direction if you tries to steer back to the middle.
I had 3 cars on my own. FC on V1, FD on V2 and V3(Japanese). Friends also gave me their collection of cars including AE86, EK9, WRX, Levin, S2k. Mostly V2.
V4 will be launched on Feb 2007 in Japan. Heard from some people who played it before that the cars are slower but easier to drift now. I might wait for the english version before investing in V4.
Play at PS2 no feel le

You can select the steering feedback from feather light 1 to a tiring, arm wrestling 10. I have it to 2 or 3 most of the time. It heavily depends on the condition of the machine's wheel. Worst case is when the this is broken and it's totally weightless. So you have to depend on your experience (how much you need to turn in order to get this corner correctly) and Imagine the feel, in order to stay competitive.
The feeling of the steering wheel pushing in the other direction is partly real, to simulate the motion of weight transfer. The other reason is depending on car and track. Some cars will have 'wheel lock' where you're turning right, but the car still heads straight.
Yup. I do keep up wif the v4 news on other forums. Wonder will they really bring in that beautiful screen on it. So dissappointing to read that the v3 cards can't be transferred. I hope that they will find some way to do the transfer.

lol, you have kinda many 'dead' card on the pictures there.
i think you know already how to recover the 'dead' card(*seeing from the attachment* lol).
i mean 'dead' here is due to late taking the card from the slot till the warning beep can be heard.
anyway, nice going. i'm just casual player only for ID Arcade v3. Newbie XD
ps: already beat ID game one for ps2. fighting Bunta is pain and hurt my fingers controlling the car using joypad

Hehe.. I didn't scan all the card's I have. Just only the one with distinct pictures.
'dead' as in invalid? Well, the cards can only be used up to 50 insertions. Once it reaches 50 times, the old card cannot be used anymore and you must buy a new physical card to continue with that car. The old card will have an invalid mark. Note that with each insertion, you can play unlimited races or time attacks, with the exception of a single race with bunta which will cause your card to be ejected, win or lose.
When your card countdown reaches 0, It will prompt you to renew, asks for coins (rm4 is the standard for 1 card), then you choose tune and the transmission again. It will eject and write a symbol on the top right of the old card. The new card will be printed with the same details as the previous card.
Yea.. it hurts your fingers playing ps2 initial d. I have my car collection there as well. But after i play the ps2 version, I will suck so bad when i go back to the arcades due to the different speeds and feel even with the same car.
