digital zoom, as long as you do not press on the zoom button, it'll be just fine. if only this phone got optical zoom... i don't think it'll be selling at 1.7k

not too sure why, but i always have difficulties with Macro Mode
what's the recommended distance to use Macro Mode?
here's the scenario:
whenever i press on the shoot button slightly as to get the focus on the subject, it'll be fine and look sharp and clear for the first few seconds. but after a while, the subject would become blurry again. this really get on my nerves at times. was it the lighting condition? or what?
any idea, anyone?
thanks!

^Did you keep holding down the shutter button?
The best distance for macro mode is around 10cm. If the lightning is too dark, it wouldn't work either.
yup yup
hold down the shutter button for a few seconds until the focus is right, then only press on the button completely to shoot it, just like real cameras
hemmm, it could be the lighting now, then, i guess

QUOTE(confuzan @ Mar 18 2007, 12:21 PM)
i also have difficulty like yours. however i found a way to actually get a better focus. use your hands!
ok, what i meant was, assuming you hold the phone using your right hand, put your left hand at about the same distance as the macro subject. use the camera to focus on your left hand and hold the shutter halfway. remove your left hand and point to the subject. make sure the subject is in focus, then snap!
what the...
like that also can?!

QUOTE(Everdying @ Mar 18 2007, 03:43 PM)
focus works best on high contrast areas.
so if low light, it gets even harder.
so find some high contrast area in your macro shot and try to focus on that.
it will never focus on a flat colored area etc.

i'm willing to invest on it, even if it costs more than rm100

ummm, do you think the price would hike up until that much?!
do update us here, anyone, if the pouch was spotted being sold anywhere, ya!

QUOTE(sunauto @ Mar 19 2007, 02:51 PM)
From what I have found out, the brown ori casing is around RM270, not sure it is cheap or expensive but that's a hefty price to pay for a plastic casing. If they have a carbon fibre casing, that will be good, the phone will be as light as a feather.
You mean via SEUS? I hope so ....... If yes, I'll upgrade it immediately.  rclxm9.gif
just a thought...
why would they sell the original casing so expensive, eh?
doesn't really make any difference between the fakes, and the originals, anyway
right?
