i find the sms report weird... especially considering my old K700i report would disappear when installed the new software (old software had to press OK). and that software came out AFTER the w800i.
im kinda hoping that there will be a new software that fixes this.

QUOTE(juzQriouz @ Jan 24 2007, 08:02 AM) opps, sorry, i was going to type headphone actually, aiya.... .Anyway, thanks vikingw2k and youngkies. there will be no damage. but depending on ur headphone's impedance, itll probably just drain ur battery faster. the higher the impedance the harder it is to drive hence ull have to push the volume higher. also, i tried it with my beyerdynamic DT990 headphones (250ohm impedance). and without a headphone amp the sounds sux i also find the DAP to be kinda bright. i tried pairing my cans with the LDM+ and also the GoVibe 5. sounds better on the GoVibe 5 as its a warm amp.

hey guys....i was just wondering if theres any kind of adaptor out there where u can plug in the handsfree kit AND the charger at the same time?
i hate the fact that i cant charge the battery and use the handsfree kit at the same time.
also, i was wondering if anyone knows how to setup the phone with FMA so that the PC will be a bluetooth handsfree kit? ive got an A2ZS, headphone+headamp and a seperate mic. itll be so much easier if i dont have to take off my headphones just to answer a call.
EDIT: any other software where i can do the same and send/receive SMS (like FMA) that might be able to do the same thing?

in regard to the IEM earphones,
id suggest getting the creative EP630 if u can still find it. RM59 is hard to beat for that kinda sound. but sadly it seems that its difficult to source for anymore.
or if ur willing to pay a lil extra for IEMs, mebbe can try out the Razer Pro Tones m100. a forumer (forgot who, sorry) mentioned that it sounds way better than the ori earphones that comes with the w810i. price? RM99 from ALL IT. slightly cheaper from the bulk section.
honestly, if i was gonna pay RM159 for the original set, id rather get the chapalang set for RM30+, throw the earphones away, use the fastport (the bottom part), get muhself the m100 and plug it in to the chapalang fastport. total would be around RM130 +/-. can save abit more from buying the ori set AND get better sound.
myself, i have an LDM+ headamp in hand, now just waiting for the time to get better headphones. cant decide between the m100 (IEM) or Koss KSC-75 (Clip On).

QUOTE(NeO2 @ Feb 5 2007, 01:05 PM) thanks a lot 4 de info.. i'm still wondering wat earphone should i buy to replace hpm-70... ksc-75 or Razer Pro Tones m100 no problem...im in the same boat as u oso...not sure which to buy between the 2. cant even audition the m100 to test out. might be able to audition the KSC75s soon though... but i think if ur gonna use it on the move then the m100 would be a better choice IMHO due to thhe isolation it gives. itll block out all the surrounding noise. with the KSC75 the surrounding noise will definitely leak in and i mean by large amounts. EDIT: was browsing the Bulk Section and the AKG K324P looks interesting especially the chrome ones RM189 This post has been edited by mADmAN: Feb 5 2007, 01:14 PM

reading reviews online says that the m250 is crap compared to the m100. not worth the money. theyd recommend the m100 over the m250 anytime.
if u really wanna go for clip ons then id suggest the KSC75 from Koss

QUOTE(Sandwich2U @ Feb 5 2007, 06:13 PM) Don't use KCS-75 for your w810i. you will regret hhhmmm..... i guess when paired with the w810i the 60ohm impedance of the KSC75s might be a lil too high for the phone. most IEMs have very low impedance such as the m100 which has an impedance of only 16ohms. im guessing the m250 wont be as bad to drive from the w810i compared to the KSC75 seeing how it only has an impedance of 32ohms. but soundwise, im sure the KSC75 will sound better compared to the m250 at same volume levels. okie....im testing out my Philips HP250 headphones with it now... the HP250 also has 32ohm impedance like the m250. but it also has a volume control. right now with the HP250 volume control set to max and the phone volume set to max...i have to conclude that ur gonna need IEMs if ur gonna run without an amp the volume just aint satisfying enough. listenable if ur in a quiet atmosphere. but on the go i guess the m250 will be drowned out by the surrounding noise. yep..that bad. thank god i have an LDM+ EDIT; now testing with Philips HP2700. 32ohm impedance but WITHOUT volume control. the volume is a little better now. i guess the volume control in my HP 250 is a limiting factor. so i take back what i said above. i guess 32ohm would be alright. but still not recommended if ur the deaf kind and i still wont recommend the m250 without an amp though. coz right now its running at max and i still wish it could go louder. stick to the IEMs if ur going ampless guess its time to recable my HP250 with some Canare L-4E6S This post has been edited by mADmAN: Feb 5 2007, 06:33 PM

QUOTE(Sandwich2U @ Feb 5 2007, 07:29 PM) bulky? not to me man ....the LDM+ is one of the smallest headamps around..and the battery lasts for friggin long! side by side with w810i comparison pic pic blurry coz taken with another w810i u can see that theyre basically around the same thickness and width. length is much shorter than the w810i (minus the volume knob)

i only got one la... the white w810i in the pic belong to my colleague. mine is black which is the one i used to take the pic actually the amp has never been taken out of my office. coz i dont have any nice portable headphone to use it with other than the ori. so i dont really bother. kinda in the middle of building up the portable rig now. so still unsure what headphone to buy in the office i use the rig in my sig..the one withh the A2ZS. Sennheiser?? no way...not for me man...i listen to metal and Senns just cannot make it for metal IMHO. my Beyer DT990 '05 is already the flaghsip for Beyerdynamics. and the cans rock! ive already tried the HD595 and the HD650 on my rig and dont really like them. currently itching to try the AKG K701 EDIT: nono only the A2ZS line is whats in the office.... the A64 is my home rig office using Pentium 4 3.0 LGA775 with 1gb ram end of OT This post has been edited by mADmAN: Feb 5 2007, 08:33 PM
