for me im DIGI user n i alrdy succesfully set many phone of my fren using the *128# (digi) and *100# (maxis)...setting from there no prob wat...and for digi menu pls use english cos i tried wit chinese, it always failed or disconnected, while english menu wont happen...

but 1st of all u must make sure u activated ur GPRS...

I dono la... But other service center they can check your account status on the spot anot???

sure,if not whats the point of a maxis center???my fren even payed bills,setup 3G + go kao lui oso(worker there)

if u still cant solve, better go to maxis center,
me also face the same problem,
me follow all the instruction and software also download,
but still cant, l try for few days,
when l go sungai wang, there got maxis event,
then l check with the maxis technician,
only know that my GPRS havent being activated,
although me already do the step teach by others many times...

i have 1 question.. i think my keypad light is got problem...
it will no more light at keypad sometime after u press a key..sometime the orange light will kept got... is that is like tat 1 or got problem?
sometime when no light,... i terbalik the handphone or tekan the housing then the light will on back...

i believe from wat u are trying to say:

that is the function of the light sensor.. when u are in bright environment, the sensor (next to the ear piece) will detects it and reduce or switch off the keypad lighting hence saving power. when u are in dark environment, the keypad will lit up bright to assist sight.

when the keypad light turn randomly bright and off and on and off at some time, it is because the environment is not bright enough nor totally dark.. in transition state is wat i am trying to mean.

conclusion: that is NORMAL..
