At this stage, not being able to use IPv6 is not entirely a show-stopper.

Just be glad that things are working well in IPv4. smile.gif

After so long, there are still many users who have problems with IPv6.

However, they are also many of us who have absolutely no problems.

This is indeed a strange problem with no foreseeable solution in sight.

There is a design flaw with IPv6 when using URL with port. Because the : is used as part of the address, when we need to specify port number

We need to put [IPv6]:port

The extra bracket [] broke most of the existing application.

How do you explain the fact that many of us, me included, who have absolutely no problems at all with IPv6?

Because you are already using latest version of software that is IPv6 aware.

But you just said that it is an IPv6 design flaw.

Test. Is my IPV6 working properly?

Yes it is.

There is an IPv6 tag at the top right corner of your posting. smile.gif

But are you having problems using IPv6?

Strange.

I have been using IPv6 since day one, and I never have any problems at all with Youtube HD streaming.

It is smoother than a red-hot knife cutting through butter.

Yes, very strange indeed.

Although some IPv6 users complain of problems with Youtube streaming, the poll shows that the majority of IPv6 users have absolutely no problems at all, including me.

I am using IPv6 on a Huawei WS880 with Xwrt-Vortex firmware. smile.gif

Yes, you are right.

I didn't notice that the poll still shows that the majority of IPv6 users have no problems at all.

Nope.

You don't have an IPv6 tag at the top right corner of your posting.
