At this stage, not being able to use IPv6 is not entirely a show-stopper.Just be glad that things are working well in IPv4.
Are you using IPv6 right now?

After so long, there are still many users who have problems with IPv6.
However, they are also many of us who have absolutely no problems. This is indeed a strange problem with no foreseeable solution in sight. |

QUOTE(CKKwan @ Feb 19 2017, 07:35 AM) There is a design flaw with IPv6 when using URL with port. Because the : is used as part of the address, when we need to specify port number How do you explain the fact that many of us, me included, who have absolutely no problems at all with IPv6?We need to put [IPv6]:port The extra bracket [] broke most of the existing application. |

Strange.
I have been using IPv6 since day one, and I never have any problems at all with Youtube HD streaming. It is smoother than a red-hot knife cutting through butter. |

QUOTE(denimblue @ Apr 18 2017, 08:34 AM) Yes, very strange indeed. Yes, you are right.Although some IPv6 users complain of problems with Youtube streaming, the poll shows that the majority of IPv6 users have absolutely no problems at all, including me. I am using IPv6 on a Huawei WS880 with Xwrt-Vortex firmware. I didn't notice that the poll still shows that the majority of IPv6 users have no problems at all. |
