cannot gain any competitive rating after a season ended ? but someone is telling me that i need to play 10 games to get the initial rating set ?

wondering whether should i get the game or not .. seems like a lot of character and non stop action .. will get tired very face ~ but got black friday sales now lol ~

if 35usd is nothing to you, just buy it since it's a one time payment and well worth it for a blizzard kind of game, can hop on and off the game anytime. it's a game for casual players anyway.

have been playing non stop ever since i bought the game

It's a game for casual / competitive player. There are seasonal ranking matchups for those serious players. Regards to anyone who wants to be sure of the Blizzard FPS that has been around for almost half a year.

the antonym of casual, is hardcore, just saying. where one have to keep playing, catching up gears to progress, eg WoW's current expansion

this game more like dota (or any MOBA game) hybrid with TF2...

skill of aiming is important but timing using skill (release ultimate for combo wombo) also important...

start for fun then get serious... right now got a lot more mode (arcade got like 5 game type) and core game got 4...
go serious, comp or practice and chill back a bit in quick play...

now with the sale it cheaper to buy origin edition. I buy the standard from the start. now is a good time to get in the game and learn cus it off season, more chill more fun...
