have you guys considered using vpn software?
i've been using one and i'm getting 40-49ms ping.

mudfish seems to be the cheapest option available but setting up is a bit tricky for casual users and i never seem to be able to get good pings with it, probably node selection problem.

battleping is my favourite due to it's decently price and extremely easy to set up. also you can try it for free without registering but will dc every 20 minutes.

killping is good as well, but a tad pricey compared to others.

tried mudfish same result doesnt seems to be working and alot of loss packet...

ya me also have 11 loot boxes as well, managed to get some purple skins

battleping u try singapore server. for me, singapore 4 works the best. sometimes when singapore 4 ping is high, singapore 3 is good.

the battleping client got ping button. you select each singapore server and then see the ping. choose the one that is lowest.

another thing, as mercy, do you assign swap weapon on E since tapping 1,2 seems time consuming when urgent matter comes? (also scroll wheel seems a bit wonky and sometimes will accident register swap weapon even i don't move it)

My mouse got 2 extra buttons so I use mouse 4 for push to talk and 5 for melee.

Problem that i have is the mouse itself, middle mouse button(scroll wheel click) not working correctly after rage moments due to DC 3 times in 1 single game...

For me because I more like fixed with old medic from TF2 weapon mindset which is reversed , so sometime I think of 1 is 2 for the weapon slot...since mercy got 2 weapons only I just assign empty key with E...like CS's Q, swap previous weapon button.

I hate Use mouse 3 as well lol, hard to click efficiently and my previous mouse wheel spoiled and the click feel gone because I use too much that time, so now any game with m3 button, I sure assign into other side haha.

My mouse got 7 extra buttons actually (Logitech G700s) but I all assign to melee on thumb button so when panic I will punch em all by slapping my thumb on the button.

Idk , in browsing in browser I am fine with wheel...just in game my wheel feel weird after you scroll , you will feel a knot thingy right? What I am saying is in middle of match after a while you swap weapon with wheel....it will auto swap after a while...especially in middle of healing suddenly you swap to pistol...that cause your teammate death haha.

For me I think is 2300 to 2600 haha because I calibrate is lower than platinum.

seems like the koreans in overwatch are becoming like the pinoys in dota.
i mean, i noticed a lot of ppl went like "oh we going to lose because we got koreans".
also, recently there has been a loooot of koreans in US server. i think 80-90% of my games are sure to have players in korean nicknames. of course there are koreans who use english text in their nicknames, but we wouldn't know until they start typing/talking in korean.

to me, there are good korean players and bad korean players. pretty similar to us as well. the problem arises when there's no proper communication and understanding between us and them.

but it's the sudden spike of korean players coming into US server that sparks my curiosity.
i did ask one of them in a game, and he replied that the Asia server is bad.
he didn't elaborate more on that as he just left after the game.

anyone can clarify what he means by Asia server is bad? the ping? the overall players? frequent disconnection? cheaters?

Yeah the influx of Korea players in America region kinda hard to miss.. The sad part is most of them can't communicate properly and insisted that they play dps even if the team already had a dps.. They don't try to ask or com in chat... Not like other players, even Thai or Vietnam, they will tell you their English is not that good but they willing to listen to you and work properly as a team..

Most annoying things is if they join team voice they cant stop talking in Korea and i don't think it have anything to do with the game... I can't understand that.. LoL

Maybe asia region have problems with DDoS or maybe tickrate cus I heard that asia region didn't get 64hz tickrate.. But not sure whether it fix or not.

yeah, that's the problem. i join a comp game, then you see 3 non-tank/healer, 1 tank, and 1 ana.
most of the time i go lucio, that's why this S2 my lucio tops the time of played hero

when the team comp doesn't work, i just type a general msg that says something like can 1 of the dps change to tank pls or can we have 2 tanks, i get no reply, and no one changes. bye SR

i don't mind if they pick 3 dps and we manage to kill them. but having 3 dps in the team and my roadhog topping the eliminations, damage and objective kills just couldn't cut it. imagine there's mccree, soldier and ana in my team but enemy pharah can discharge 2 ultimates without dying.

oh no wonder i feel something was off yesterday...
i feel that whichever team that have a korean group would likely.......lose
saw some dps which totally can't kill and yet they don't change even when ppl trying to tell them nicely

that's why partly my zen in s2 actually is top of my lucio time after a while because i decided go semi dps and heal (even i cannot aim that accurate like aim bot)

at least can kill pharah as zen

yesterday i think i got some rubberband effect on me, but again i was in custom game so i not sure other server....like comp or quick game, maybe tonight will play 1-2 matches test again... with MIC now
