User behaviour, GPS issues, especially bots affects game balance, stability and ecosystem.

Many set parameters will change when the game progresses. This has to be done for survival of the game.

If more and more Malaysians community love to cheat, the game will mature too fast then eventually died.

To slow things down daily caps/limiter (to casual gamers rate) have to come, niantic is not making much in cheaters dominated community anyways.

This should render bot useless.

No need for upgrades, only need updates on server side.

Most online games generates logs in database, this is where the art of scripts comes to action to flag user, it can be fully automated or by batch process during updates. Accuracy depends a lot on data patterns gathered, means they need more time. Be patient

Data collected from other countries can be used but vary due to many factors, wonky GPS, user habits, etc...

Perhaps a dedicated or separated bot server. Just like offline game. Why bot at all if all you ever do is bot?

Else the server ecosystem is screwed, all parameters eg.. Spawn rates, rare rates, ... are set for normal user.

Bots have no legs they dont get tired, all the restraints is non existing for bots eg. Battery life, they dint sleep, they dont pay toll, parking..... They can just sapu the entire area without lifting a finger.

Then logging in as a normal user to rape gyms using fake dlck gives no joy. I see u might enjoy buttsek... But its not for everyone. Sorry i show no respect for cheaters.

Online gaming is a community, cheaters have no respect for that.

Can't fully blame those botters lah.. Mostly have physical disability..orang OKU.

Niantic is also to be blamed for slow reaction. They should just impose daily exp limiter based on realistic players data, or level cap based on total online time record. Do this till they comeup with solution.

Unlike MMO unfotunately this game doesnt have pvp or player kill features. If not it would be fun gangbanging bots on sights.

Atm. No point playing gym, just play as casual poke collector.

Banning bots will be very easy then .. expecting mass banning on next update.

42 pokemon per hour assuming you play 24 hours a day.

The more realistic average is 3 hours per day. That would meant 333 pokemon per hour, very unlikely for normal players.

They logged down hourly captures per hour, rate should vary for human player and a constant rate for bots. Im 90% sure niantic knows who are bots, its just a matter of time.

Game servers are cluster servers, different countries may populate diferrent set of servers. Allowing users playing multiple region will open another can of worms aka exploits.

Check the TNC. Its not really ban, it should be IP restriction depending on the user's origin.

Its was activated during last update on api change. Only took the craker less than 4 days to get it working, tho full understanding not archived.

Niantic security is crap, bots still there. Just need a "humanized" bot. Spoofing still works on rooted hp by hiding mock_location from pokeapp under system or using xposed modules.

Wtf is niantic doing? Banning account based on user complaints is fking retard. I hope they get the database offline and do some real checking for next ban wave.

Niantic need to come up with harder encryption, the .33 only took 4 days to crack, try introduce multiple check points or may be API key for acounts. Do a monthly patched, hacker will have hard time catching up.

99% of local "hackers" are nothing more then script kiddies, they just DL and use. Imagine if those bot programs are embbeded with ddos and backdoors. its a paradise for hackers.

I think niantic main focus atm is server stablity, performance and scalability.

Once they managed that next move will be cheaters.
