Android phone?
I used to travel Bangkok with 2 Celcom line
my wife using iPhone & mine using android.
Iphone turned off data roaming
Android turned off both mobile data & data roaming.
Month end bill, My line kena charged RM30++ for data roaming. My wife no charges on roaming.

Suspect GPS triggered data roaming cause I used Waze/google maps in offline mode. But weird thing I also used iPhone for waze/google maps.

Complained to Celcom but end up still need to pay roaming.

Anyway Celcom did mentioned less than 2mb usage considered pay per use (won’t trigger RM38 daily roaming charge)
