Guys, i may be looking into buying a used inspira 2.0. based on some research that i have done, it seems there are a number of owners who complain that when drive long distance the CVT will overheat and the car will slowdown till 40+ km/h. I have seen this complain few times in different forums. Can you guys let me know if you all found a solution for this problem?

Thanks for the reply bro, actually those guys who encountered the problem were doing an average of 120km/h when they were hit by this issue. as for me i have few job site in genting, so this will be an issue for me. i am a driving enthusiast and its for this reason i was considering the inspira instead of a used altis as the inspira has a better driving experience compared to the Altis which is more for a laid back ride

I have never had that problem with 1.8 so far since early 2011. As mentioned by many, don't be a heavy footer, then it should be fine. But I did get a high temp warning once due to radiator fan failure.

For those in Penang, any good workshop to service Inspira?
Need to change mounting, it's shakin like crazy. Proton quoted rm1850 plus labour, reasonable?

A friend of mine is considering to get a used 2.0p inspira 2011. I see some comments on how one should avoid getting it due to cost of maintenance and no esc. What do you guys think? How has owning the car been for you guys up till now? And is the driving /handling good ? Thanks
