Depends on your budget and usage, if don't care about form factor, then cheap entry level of H110/B150 mATX mobo should be enough, if you want standard ATX then you can look for H170.

Haswell has been phased out since few months ago and Skylake is now 1 year old, while Kaby Lake is due next year (Jan 17) so there is no reason to go for Haswell anymore now, the price is almost the same too.

But your budget is way too low for "mid-high gaming", 1.5k can only fit a duo core G4400 + GTX750Ti, after adding a cheapest 1080p monitor, it will go over 1.8k which is already out of your budget reach
