hello. im thinking to change my display card to 1050 ti. currently using 7850 2gb. is there huge different in term of performance?
here's the case. i have issue with my game fps right after i change my monitor to 144hz. previously when using 60hz monitor, i can get around 200~250fps in CSGO. after change to 144hz, it stay at 160 ~ 180fps.
so will the upgrade increase the fps?
and yes. those fps matter to me.

QUOTE(terence_nwb @ Nov 7 2016, 10:22 AM) Hmm, changing monitor from 60Hz to 144Hz shouldn't affect the performance of the GPU, something weird is going on here, are you sure all the settings are the same? Back to the question, yes, upgrading to GTX1050Ti from 7850 will provide more performance but you need to find out the root cause of frame rates drop first before going for this upgrade as this is not a feasible solution. yeah i wonder too. but after a little bit of google, i found some people having this kind of problem too.

QUOTE(terence_nwb @ Nov 7 2016, 11:52 AM) Your 144Hz monitor doesn't come with GSync/FreeSync technology right? VSync on/off? Im using xl2430T Not sure lol. Never touch those thing bcoz i think my 7850 not support that
