QUOTE(Castreal @ Nov 17 2017, 07:06 PM) Hi all, thanks for the generous offer. I've actually received multiple PMs on the free voucher, this is good proof that people here are really generous I have been using CloudFlow on and off since Sept. Very comfortable and got a 'bounce' to the step. However, I have not tried on Brooks shoes yet, so not sure if they are what I'm looking for yet. On another note, Key Power has up to 30% sales on Brooks, which is calculated to more or less RM 160 discount as well for a pair of Brooks Ghost 10. So will try them out first, hopefully this weekend. In the meantime, I've tried out Saucony Freedom ISO, Pegasus 34, Adidas Supernova, NB Fresh Foam Cruz, and ON Cloudflow today And I tend to lean toward ON Cloudflow for their CouldTec (kinda similar to my old Mizuno Prophecy), and I love the energy return it gives and the lightweight of that shoe. Anyone has any feedback/experience on this ON shoe? Unfortunately, the price seems to be on the higher side, can get it slightly under RM 500 if I manage to get 2 other items at Running Lab. Yet to try Brook's Ghost 10, so let's see how they compare. You are right about the weight, much lighter than the other shoes that i have. The shoe might not last you a few years, depending on your mileage. I have done bout 100+ km in it, can already see some wearing on the sole. Maybe my running style ?? Not sure bout this. I got it for 500+ during a 20% sale from Running Lab. |

QUOTE(vin_ann @ Apr 6 2018, 10:06 AM) bro, read the BOLD... This might actually happen.just afraid its too hyped and many kiasu would show up at 12am to register instead of 1-2 hours before race start for FM & HM... Example is last weekend 2XU walk in registration, long queue because got an extra shirt. All the best for SCKLM 2018 runners. |

QUOTE(teongpeng @ Apr 14 2018, 10:48 AM) Yay! Finish my first ever 21k. Self run (not event). 3hours 4 minutes. Congrats... 1 carry on bottle 1 energy gel 1 toilet break 2 water stop (7/11 & hidden stash) Leg very pain now. After the 15km or so, form starts to break down and foot hurts. Heart rate climbs very high despite running very slowly. Hopefully I'll be fitter come 5th may, Perlis marathon. Target to finish 21km in 3 hours. Do stretching and foam rolling to reduce soreness |

QUOTE(lightworks @ Apr 16 2018, 02:46 PM) looking for review on Kuching Marathon, route & water station, t-shirt & medal design & quality, overall arrangement included traffic, etc Went for HM last year. Route was quite flat. Traffic control and water station adequate. But was drizzling on race day, not fun running when wet.. |

QUOTE(atilla @ Aug 5 2019, 04:30 PM) Are brand name shoes on Lazada legit or fake? QUOTE(AhJian @ Aug 6 2019, 08:17 PM) Ya, thanks. Kayano is stability shoe which offer great support and cushioning. I did try Kayano 25, somehow I feel it is bulky. Do you have any experience on this Kayano? So it will be much heavier and more bulky than normal racing / speed shoes. Its good for long runs. |

QUOTE(atilla @ Aug 6 2019, 10:00 PM) Thanks I didn't think to browse the official online shop. Are there any other outlets which offer good shoes at a discount? Key Power Sports online shop is offering big discount on brooks shoes.Else Mitsui Outlet has most of the shoe brands on discount. Asics, Brooks, New Balance, etc... |

QUOTE(geniousboy @ Aug 18 2019, 09:33 AM) I followed your advise and went to brooks at mitsui yesterday. This is just some info for you. Simple and practical advice. Hope it helps. The staff mentioned that i have a normal arch but slightly underpronation based on my current running shoes condition. So he suggested ghost 10. Tried it this morning, definitely less pain where i usually feel.. But unfortunately, i feel pain exactly at my left foot arch after running 2km, which i never experience before.. even now after 2 hours stop running, still feel discomfort. Should i try few more times and see if my left foot can adapt to the shoes or go back to the store? https://www.drpuisan.com/post/finding-the-p...t-running-shoes |
