advice needed; never run FM previously, mistakenly join two FM runs within 2 weeks, does one week or less for rest/recover before next run is sufficient?
*
Wow... 2 FM in 2 weeks... rclxub.gif
i think even seasoned runners don't do that..

Hi,

Is there recommendations of programs for beginner runners?
*
What is your target ?
There are free information online depending on your requirements.

You could also join the various free running clinics; saucony freedom runner club, kl marathon running clinics.. to name a few.

Besides that, you can also purchase running plans from therunningplan.com.
They are based in malaysia and organize many running classes.

All the best. smile.gif

Hi,

I'm looking for a training program building up to be able to run 30 minutes without stopping for rest every other day (my goal).

Do you have any recommendations?

Thanks for all the info.  notworthy.gif

If your aim is 30 min continuous running, which i assume will be around 5km distance, you currently don't need a running plan.

Just go for short runs daily 20-30 mins, focusing on high cadence and good running form.
Walking is ok when you feel tired.

If you are consistent (4-5 times a week), you would be able to do 30 min non stop in no time.
