Fish oil for adults, Still have good effect or not?

Today I went to pharmacy and look for supplement. May I know fish oil have good effect for adults or not? I know for kids 2-4 years old have good effect but for adults still have effect or not? I find the Blackmores and Kordels fish oil and I know they are branded one.
