There are specific buyers for broken GPUs for recycling purposes or refurbishing.

However, don't expect them to pay much for any broken GPUs.

thats why before finish warranty i will sell it ASAP and take new one
i always change GPU every three years
and change all rig setup every 5 years

3 years you lose value kau kau already. Actually 9 to 12 months range is reasonable, sell before price drop.

Now my GTX 960 want to sell also dilemma.

Need not run long. Furmark 5 minutes more than enough, Prime95 I don't see the need to run 24 hours either.

Then i buy GTX960 at RM750 new one October 2015 because that time my GTX760 in RMA process.. I wanna sell RM600 still got Asus warranty for two years..
I use Lazada and Gemfive so not lose value too much.. now i got my GTX1070 Zotac AMP! this morning using voucher too RM1850 last week
your buyer cant say anything because they buy on market price for 2nd hand right?
so my calculation i lose RM100-150 per year for graphic card, this GTX10xx really give pain in the ass for old Nvidia card because Zotac sell new 970 980 damn cheap after 1070 release.

If i use gtx1070 with core i5-3450 will bottleneck?

need to see how much your processor and GC loading together. during gaming.
in example if GC 100%, and CPU just 70% means no bottleneck

I saw you selling ur 960 and upgraded to 1070. Im also using 960 4gb. Big different 960>>1070?

960 is actually as gap to replace GTX760, RMA GTX760 take too long time
i read in many hardware forum 1070 is big jump from 960

If follow your logic then i rather taking 1170 next year from 770 i been using 4 more than 3 years already

3 years is ok i guess. 670 cannot do 60fps high/ultra on rise of the tomb raider... i also haven't played arkham knight.

if your 770 still ok for what u play, no need upgrade lo.

wonder why now most 1070 is sub 2k in the forum for new card. Brand like gigabyte asus is selling for 1.9k while zotac still 2.1k.. shud go for gigabyte, asus instead?
