Core i7 5930K overclocked to 4.6Ghz, 32GB Corsair Dominator Pro DDR4-3200 RAM, dual Nvidia Titan X Pascals in SLI overclocked to 2050Mhz core clock/10800Mhz memory clock, Samsung 950 Pro M2 NVME with read speeds clocking in at 2.5GB/s. Temperature or CPU and GPUs never exceeding 60C during 3840x2160 gaming on Acer Predator G-Sync 4K 60Hz XB280HK, although I'm planning to gaming on the Asus ROG SWIFT 3440x1440 100Hz G-Sync PG348Q 34inch ultrawide monitor.

All games from Crysis 3, SW Battlefront, Doom, ...right up to The Witcher 3 ran at 4K above 60fps on all settings maximum. The Witcher 3 ran 71-80fps with all setting maximum,  Crysis 3 ran a ludicrous 135-140fps all settings maximum, while SW Battlefront and Doom sped ahead at 180fps and beyond in 4K. I had to frame cap some of the games to 60fps in 4K because of the excessive tearing at those triple digits framerates. Too much graphical processing power.

I went to one local shop today and asked whether it is possible to test their stock of MSI 1070 gaming X card with GPUz as I cannot stand it anymore. (I NEED a 1070  Aaarrrgghhhh!).

They were kind enough to test it for me. Turns out to be a micron. 

Yup. I just enquired whether can or not because if it is Samsung, I will buy immediately. They said ok, took out the card, peel off the front sticker (easily put back) then tested it.

Whether it was previously opened I don't know as it was the last MSI gaming X. Don't know whether got sealed sticker on the box.

I bought my GTX 980 from there too and I guess they know me... a bit....

is there a time frame when we must download the game? example get the code today, download the game next year (after my housing area has faster internet)

Manage to redeem Gears of War 4, even though I bought my Palit GTX 1080 in July. I submit receipt and serial number without any alterations. Palit approved it within one day. No regrets buying Palit.  Special thanks to the people here who gave this tips.

During downloading GoW4, I find out nice feature of Windows 10 which allow selection hard disk drive for download. It can be later move to another hard disk if required.

Hmmm, should be able to. Win Store GOW4, under system requirement is Win 10 version 10586.0 or higher.  Earlier on, I tried a few times to download but error message came out, says Try again later. Only this saturday morning, manage download.

I thought can play already. Not reliasing the release date is 11 Oct 2016 for GOW4. Ha ha !

Hi, is that normal asus gtx 1080's fan spinning louder when gaming? Quiet obvious and non stop, thought the fan is quiet silent even full load?

Did you check out how crazy the amount of settings are available in that game!!? Benchmarking the game is a "game" by itself.
