2 be honest, u really cant get much 4 ur old iswara.. as u probably know, the 2nd hand market is really bad these days, especially 4 proton cars.. the market price 4 ur car is bout under 10k.. some people r even selling theirs at under 8k!! so my advice is, juz keep the iswara.. n if u wanna buy the myvi, juz buy it.. keep 2 cars..

well, if u think u wanna sell it, juz go ahead then.. but do bear in mind, besides the very low resale value, the 2nd hand market is full wit iswara's, wit better condition or newer, selling at bout the same price too..

this is not 2 pull u down or make u feel bad or anythin.. its juz facts of the 2nd hand market these days..

juz try ask around.. see if u can sell at a good price.. if u get somewhere around 10k, id say juz let go.. thats a good deal already..

Are you kidding, my 6-year old Iswara was traded-in for 9.5K only late last year.  Called up many dealers, all same price. 11k before inspection, 9.5k after inspection.
dude, im not kidding.. my family's in the car trade too.. i know the market..

n a bit of an info 4 u dude, in the car trade world, even its last n this yr wit a difference of only one day (31st dec n 1st of jan), it'll make a big difference in price..

if u still dont believe, try calling up ur dealers now.. ask how much theyre willing 2 take a yr 97 iswara..

im guessin that u have no more loans 2 pay on that car.. so, 2 options.. either sell it off n use that money 2 make downpayment 4 new car or keep the iswara n repair it back again.. 1st plan, upside is, no headache as its a new car, but downside is have 2 start paying new loan.. 2nd option is, downside, u have 2 spent a lot 2 restore the car, but upside is no need 2 start a new loan..

so, ur choice..

You've mistaken my point.  I'm saying the Iswara will sell for very low, I gave an example of my own trade-in becos it was very low too.  If your family's in the car trade, then you should know a 10-year old Iswara can't really fetch 10k, right?  A 6-year old was already quoted for 10k, so how can a 10-year old be quoted for the same price?
oh, sorry.. i misunderstood ur point..

yup, ure rite.. thats y i said its damn lucky if the TS can get bout 10k 4 his old iswara.. ideally, he only can get bout 6-7k if he were 2 sell 2 dealers..

market damn bad these days.. very hard 4 car traders 2 carik makan also sweat.gif
