just wondering, can xox do Google Play Store billing like DiGi and Celcom? considering that onexox is a mvno of Celcom but they are a different entity altogether

What I mean is does onexox supports direct carrier billing like Celcom (https://www.lowyat.net/2016/99556/celcompay-now-available-on-google-play-store/) or DiGi (http://new.digi.com.my/services/google-play)

yes i know that but then i believe their bandwidth is underutilised.
if not,
why the half hearted attempt to sell Season Data Pass recently at RM30 for 3GB
their only selling point is 28month validity.

Majority user port there to hibernate like me which i port 28months ago one sim before following up with another SIm last year
i was tempted to buy rm25 for one year validity few days back but then out of the blue,Digi Ambassador have those Zero commitment for life which is God sent oppourtunity.

SO port out lo this VIP number sim.
Anyway still got one more XOX SIM hibernating.

i really wish XOX will do some "shocking deal"

if you're passing this sim to your parents that uses not much, can consider friendi though (on 2g it uses Maxis) and for every call/sms/reload/ppu data it adds the validity by 2 months

Ah, as for the mysterious deductions, something not everyone can understand until it happens to oneself. Ignoring such text messages or any adverts/promos, and not having data roaming activated at all from Day 1, etc etc, don't help either. There are so many discussions on this matter, and all we've been seeing are more and more excuses/suggestions from the telcos. Don't think I want to go on with these "how it happened" anymore.   laugh.gif

Agree. However it was a fun time calling celcom and reporting it to cfm(was using postpaid at that time) laugh.gif

btw, the recent season pass deals are cheap, didn't see such offer in the past

Actually.. XOX do offer reasonable Season Data pass... Bought before 10GB for rm90 or less.
Even drag my colleague  to sign up with XOX.. 28 months back..
That time.. Buy one time almost 50GB Season Pass.

Before I port over to DiGi Ambassador.. I sell cheap cheap rm50 for 7GB to my colleague.. Yes.. He still with XOX.

haha. I need light usage on my secondary phone so this fits in perfectly(500mb per month for RM5)

Celcom's network is too flaky for me to be my primary usage vmad.gif

Frankly speaking... Using data on XOX smooth for me... Maybe because it is underutilized and it is expensive which is why people use it as when needed.
Anyway XOX is ridden on Celcom network.
Should be ok.

it's okay if it's on 4g. But still slower in terms of latency compared to DiGi.

If Celcom is on 3g then it takes some time for the fast dormancy to transfer it's state to active. Saves battery but then the delay is annoying.

play play ok, not consistent reliable, sometimes on sometimes failed

this is what I'm experiencing as well. It takes a long time to connect even though the connection is stable.

It's seems like only preferable normal SMS during you oversea.
Yes, it's not stable. And it's seems like you have VOIP service and only your connections connect well..

didn't mean like that. just that the user experience is pretty bad if you can't even connect to it sweat.gif
